Michelle obtained her B.Sc in UCG 1987-1991 and went on to study pharmacy in Strathclyde University, Glasgow, qualifying in 1995. Scotland's loss was Athlone's gain as Michelle put roots down in the Midlands in what is today's Concannon's Pharmacy.
Since that day in 1999, Michelle has extended the business premises, adding many new ranges to the products available in the pharmacy and employed many people from the area. Mostly however she became an integral part of the business and community fabric of Athlone, and also the Pharmacy Community in Ireland. She has spoken out many times on any health care issue that she feels does not serve the public well, and truly is a caring professional.
Always available for a word of advice, a sympathetic ear, or just even a friendly chat Michelle is without doubt one of the most approachable people in town.
